App Version 5.2.6 — February 2025

Version 5.2.6 of IRIS ParentMail is being rolled out from the 17th February 2025 for Android devices. The update will be available at the beginning of March 2025 for Apple iOS devices, and if you access IRIS ParentMail from your browser.

If the changes do not display automatically, please update the app from the app store for your device. Updates are applied automatically when available if you access your account from your browser.

What's new in Version 5.2.6

We have made the following changes to the design for IRIS ParentMail: 

My Profile Section

A new item has been added to the bottom of the menu that displays your name. This is a My Profile section, that when selected displays the Settings, Help, and Logout menu options that were previously displayed in the menu.

Menu Changes

• The Forms menu item has been renamed to Surveys and Forms.
• The Starred menu item has been renamed to Favourites.
• The Unread and Archived options have been moved. Unread and Archived items are now only accessed from the relevant Emails, SMS, or Parents Evening pages.
• Settings, Help, and Logout have been moved to a sub-menu and display when selecting the section at the bottom of the menu where your name is displayed.

Unread and Archived Items

The options to access and filter messages to only display unread or archived items have been moved into the Emails, SMS, or Parents Evening pages.

To filter the messages to display unread or archived items, select Options, then Unread or Archived.

Absence Section

The Add Absence option has also been added to the Absence page where all the students you are linked to are listed. Absences can now be added without selecting a student first.

Other Fixes and Updates

When ordering items in the Payments section, the PAY NOW button has been changed to GO TO BASKET.
