Why do I need to upgrade to an IRIS Identity account?
IRIS ParentMail are committed to keeping your details safe. As part of our security improvements, from October 2022, you must upgrade your account to an IRIS Identity account.
What do I have to do?
The school you use the IRIS ParentMail app for will send you a message when your account needs to be upgraded.
You will be logged out of your account, then must reset your password when you next use the app.
Enter the email address you use for your IRIS ParentMail account, then select Continue. You are redirected to the IRIS Identity Login page, where you must follow the instructions to reset your password.
Can I still access the information that was in my IRIS ParentMail account?
Upgrading your account to IRIS Identity, only changes your password. You can still access all the information you had in your IRIS ParentMail account.
Why did I not have to reset my password?
If you use another IRIS Software Group product, you might already have an IRIS Identity account. If the IRIS Identity Login page was displayed when you logged in and you did not have to reset your password to log in, your account has already been upgraded.
